HOW TO REGISTER FOR AN INVITATIONAL MEET

1. Email your entries to coach Bill at blever@comcast.net. Your payment can be given at a later date.

2. Simply stop by our practices and drop off an invitational entry form. Your form must include the following:

1. Name of Meet 2. Swimmer’s Name 3.Age 4. Event Numbers you will enter as well as the name of the event you plan to swim.

Cold Water Classic -- Hosted by Warrington Swim Team

Dates and Times:

	Friday, June 22, 2007 (18 & under) Warm ups: 5:30 – 6:00PM / Meets starts at 6:15PM
	Saturday, June 23, 2007 (10 & under) Warm ups: 7:00 – 7:45AM / Meets starts at 8:00AM

Meet Description: The Cold Water Classic benefits all LBSL swimmers. This event enables swimmers to have current competitive times for other LBSL invitationals scheduled for later in the season. Most of the league sanctioned times for other invitationals are due shortly after the Cold Water Classic.

The age of the swimmer as of June 30, 2007 will determine age group placement.

	Entries: Up to 5 per swimmer (see event list)
	Entry Fee: $3.00 Per Event
	Events: Please submit TIMES for EACH EVENT on standard entry form. Warrington is a Meters Pool

ODD AGE INVITATIONAL #1

Somerton Swim Club - July 7th 7:20 Warm-up / 8:05 Start

Meet Description: An odd age meet is designed to assist the swimmers who are at the bottom of their age group. The age brackets for this invitational is 7&U, 9&U, 11&U, 13&U, and 15&U. Rosettes are given for (1-3), double ribbons (4-6), ribbons (9-18). Everyone gets a participant ribbon.

	Entries: Up to 4 per swimmer (see event list)
	Entry Fee: $3.00 Per Event
	Events: Please submit times for each event on standard entry form.

NEWTOWN AQUA PENTATHLON

JULY 7th and 8th, 2007

Dates and Times:

	Saturday, JULY 7th (14 &Under, 18 & Under ), Warm-up 5:45 pm
	Sunday, JULY 8th (8 & Under, 10 & Under, 12 & Under) Warm-up 7:00 am

Meet Description: This meet is for swimmers who excel at all four competitive strokes. Many teams rank open entries according to their times in the four strokes. The swimmers with the fastest composite times qualify for the meet. Depending on interest level, Brookside allows open entries into the meet for all swimmers but spots in the meet are not guaranteed. Individual awards will be given for 1st through 12th place. Overall: Trophies for 1st through 6th, Rosettes for 7th through 12th

	Entries: Swimmers Compete in *Entries: Swimmers Compete in each of the 4 strokes plus* the 100 IM**
	Entry Fee: $15 Per Swimmer
	Events: Please submit TIMES (in Yards) for EACH EVENT on standard entry form.

	Saturday, July 14, 2006 (10 and UNDER) – Warm-up 7:00 AM

Meet Description: This meet is designed for league swimmers to win ribbons for 1st through 18th places in each individual event. Children 12 and under compete in a one age category.

	Entries: up to 5 individual events
	Entry Fee: $3.00 per event
	Events: Please submit TIMES for EACH EVENT on standard entry form (Meters)

Meet Description: An odd age meet is designed to assist the swimmers who are at the bottom of their age group. The age brackets for this invitational is 7&U, 9&U, 11&U, 13&U, and 15&U. Rosettes are given for (1-6), ribbons (7-12). SPECIAL NOTE: AGE-UP for this meet is June 15, 2007 (not June 30th like all other events)

	Entries: Up to 4 per swimmer (see event list)
	Entry Fee: $4.00 Per Event
	Events: Please submit times for each event on standard entry form.

LBSL 2007 CHAMPIONSHIPS - YARDS

Meet Description: This is the final meet of the season. The Bullfrogs want to encourage all swimmers and levels to sign up for this event. These meets are the closest you will get to a "high level competitive meet" without entering a USA swim program that travels to events. Wouldn't it be great to have the stands filled with Brookies at both the 8 and Under and Divisional Championships? Your coaches view these events as the finale to our short summer season and we would like everyone to participate if their vacation plans allow them. These events usually provide an excellent opportunity for your swimmer to end their season with a personal best time and possibly an award.

FOR THOSE SWIMMERS NEW TO THE SPORT, CHAMPIONSHIPS ARE FOR EVERYONE!!! You may swim three events, regardless of your speed, technique, or success so far this year. In other words, everyone is welcome!! The Age Group Championships are over two days. This first day is Divisional Championships. Swimmers that finish in the top 16 in their Division qualify to swim for the League Championship on the second day.
